In fact, I frequently find myself out shooting with a Sig Cross even when I have much more expensive guns that I could be choosing. If not the ultralight, whats the best 7 PRC for around $1500? In our testing, we had all of the guns chambered alike, but as soon as any of the reviewers shot the Tikka after shooting the other rifles, they all commented that the recoil felt heavier. I had a Waypoint 2020 6.5 PRC on order for a long while- when one finally showed up and I was able to handle it, I just could not warm up to it. You mentioned it once but I cant find a video where you review it? Fun to read through this after watching all the vids. I know you get requests for reviews a lot but Id be very interested in hearing your thoughts on the CVA Cascade line of bolt action rifles. So it is not a 700 rem action like the Bergara, So no MDT chassis at this time to match. So if I review it and love my copy, Id be convincing people to buy one and they very likely may not have the same experience. I purchased a Stockys carbon stock for my Vanguard 6.5 PRC Meateater rifle and was able to shoot a suppressed 5 shot group at 100 yards that measured under 1/2 moa. All good options, but Id go with the Cross if youll be using it for any backcountry hunting. A junk injection molded plasticky stock that expands with heat and contracts with cold. My main criteria is staying sub 6 lbs if I can for the rifle only and sub moa guarantee.
